Meet Mission Control

Mission Control is your central brain for Cause Machine.  This is where you will find the most common action and management tools for the effective and efficient management of your community.  And while there are hundreds of actions, features, settings, preferences, and options in Cause Machine we want to make sure to keep you focused on the key items that help you build and monetize your tribe.  

Locating Mission Control

Mission Control is most easily found by clicking your photo in the top right corner and then selecting Mission Control from the drop down menu.

You can also always find Mission Control in the top left of your backend navigation page.

Mission Control Quick Actions

The top of Mission Control is dedicated to the major quick actions you need as you manage your community.  This list is responsive depending on your account settings but you will find key actions like: post new content, create an event, add a product, etc.  These are designed to quickly and easily guide you to the activity of creation and activation for your community.  

Mission Control Management Tools

In addition to the Quick Actions, you will find a larger directory of management tools.  These are also collected from the actions we see community admins using most often.  Here's a quick explanation of some of what's here.

• Recent Activity - checking in on what's been happening in your community
  • View your Google Analytics dashboard page and site activity 
  • View all recent payments from memberships and other avenues
  • View all donations made to your community (if enabled)
• Members - managing those who have profiles/accounts in your community
  • Send an email to your membership database
  • Manage specifics of an individual member and look up their activity history 
  • View your member dashboard for insights
• Pages & Marketing - managing your site navigation and marketing tools
  • Manage your site navigation structure, custom pages, and site layout
  • Quickly create a new custom webpage
  • Manage your lead generators and their settings
  • Manage your Mailchimp account and how you've connected these accounts
• Manage - quickly manage core modules of the Cause Machine platform
• Settings - quickly access and manage key community settings
