Stories are a powerful tool for members of your community to connect with one another. On the backend, a community can view the Stories Dashboard by selecting Stories>Stories List.
Stories Dashboard:
Stories Posting: Published, Awaiting Approval, & Declined/Removed
Story Engagement: Views, Likes & Comments
Search Stories by Title or Author
View all Stories and navigate to them individually, see the authors, where the Story was posted, Status, Date Published and Actions
Actions:
View Story Page, Edit, Archive (removed from member view - can be re-published), Remove from Community (removed from member view - not able to re-publish - still shows on the backend as "removed"), Delete (removes the Story from the platform entirely).
Setting up your Stories Preferences is an important step. You'll want to configure the Stories permissions for your community - who can post, read or comment.
Example of what a Story looks like once it is published:
While viewing a Story, members have the ability to Favorite This Story, Post A Story, Flag Story or Block Story (options available when selecting the three dots), and Comment on the Story.
If a member Blocks Story, the member will not be shown that piece of content again (so long as they aren't using a saved URL/email/etc.).
If a member Flags a Story, a notification is sent to the Community - including why the content was flagged as inappropriate. The community moderator can access the moderation center by selecting Content>Moderation Center. The option to view the story, remove the story, block the author, and ignore the flag are available.
