Stories, Feed and Discussions-What's the Difference?

Some people have wondered, what is the difference between the tabs at the top of the page? Please check out the explanations below for each tab:

Stories are a backend navigation module. Under "Stories" on the backend you can manage community member stories. The way FBSN has it currently set, community members can post stories without approval and only community members are able to see stories. People are also able to comment on them. When creating a story, you are able to give it a title, write your story, add gallery photos and a cover photo, and connect it to a challenge. Stories are customizable under "Neighborhoods".

Feed is a block that can be added to a page. The block captures what is new in your community with a running

feed of new content, comments and other activity. All content can be added to feed and is customizable (where/when it will appear) under each content area.

Discussions: Text that can occur within content ("comments"), and can also be enabled/disabled under "Groups".
