Setting Up Stripe

To get your finances set up and your payment gateway enabled follow these steps.  Everything is powered through Stripe.  Stripe enables payments for memberships, courses, events, products, and donations.  This is a simple process that should take less than five minutes.  You can get started connecting Stripe from your Setup Checklist or from your Financial tab on the left navigation. 

Click the "Connect with Stripe" button once you are on this page.

Create a Stripe Account

Many people already have Stripe accounts.  If so, simply log into your Stripe account.  If you do not the process is simple and should take less than five minutes.  

Approve Connection

Once you have logged in to your Stripe account then a screen will appear from Cause Machine verifying that you want to connect your Stripe and Cause Machine accounts.  If all the information is correct then click the "Connect my Stripe account".

You're all done, thankfully it's that simple!
