Reserved Tickets are a result of a user putting a registration in their cart and not checking out. To ensure that your event does not have reserved tickets indefinitely, you will want to set an attendee registration window:

Leaving it as Indefinite (system default) means that a person can indefinitely leave a registration in their cart.
If you would like these registrations to expire at a certain point, if left unpurchased, set the window accordingly.
