General Settings

Cause Machine has various settings throughout the platform.   These settings are generally housed in their respective modules (ex: group settings are in the groups module).  There are settings that are community wide.  Let's explore those here.  

Start from Mission Control and select General Settings (also accessible from the left navigation under Settings). 

Here you name your community, provide a tagline, and an overview of your community.  

Next you select if your community digest will be turned on or off.  Cause Machine generates a dynamic community digest for your members to be sent at the select frequency you determine here.  This digest includes recent content, groups, jobs, and other information relevant to the individual.

Finally select if the newsletter signup link is enabled and then save changes.
